3D X-Rays

Safety is a top priority! Our ultra-low dose X-ray machine is safe and efficient. The images rendered from this highly-advanced piece of equipment create a 3D image. This makes it easy for Dr. Mark Padilla to diagnose orthodontic problems and come up with the most efficient treatment plan possible. If you are interested in learning more about our 3D X-rays in Plano and Anna, Texas, we encourage you to contact MP Orthodontics and schedule an appointment with our orthodontist.

Digital X-rays are one of the advanced diagnostic tools we use to provide you with the best possible care. Digital radiography has changed the way we take dental X-rays by making the process faster, more comfortable and more convenient than ever before. Digital X-rays use a digital sensor to take images of your teeth, unlike traditional X-rays that use film. Digital X-rays use significantly less radiation than conventional film X-rays and require the use of no chemicals for developing the images. Our orthodontist can then instantly view the high-quality images on monitors right in the treatment room to provide you with efficient, accurate diagnoses and care. Our team is able to use digital radiography to identify and diagnose several types of dental problems, such as:

A dental imaging machine with a blue chair and head support is shown next to a computer monitor displaying a 3D scan of a human skull. The i-CAT FLX logo appears in the top right corner.
A dentist points at a dental X-ray displayed on a monitor, highlighting teeth and jaw structure, possibly discussing oral health or treatment options.
